Fallout 3

Fallout 3Vault 101 – Jewel of the Wastes. For 200 years, Vault 101 has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs, now known as the Capital Wasteland. Though the global atomic war of 2077 left the US all but destroyed, the residents of Vault 101 enjoy a life free from the constant stress of the outside world. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are all no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering. Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security afforded by Vault 101 for reasons unknown. Leaving the only home you’ve ever known, you emerge from the Vault into the harsh Wasteland sun to search for your father, and the truth.  Fallout 3 is one sandbox game you cant afford to miss.

Fallout 3: Broken Steel Review

Fallout 3: Broken SteelThe latest DLC for Fallout 3 was just released yesterday, upping the level cap to 30, and adding new quests/weapons/armor/locations to this already huge sandbox game.  Unfortunately it's not been released for Playstation 3, but Xbox 360 and PC versions are available.  IGN gave it an 8.5, and by my books, that deserves a download.  If you want another reason to get back into Fallout, click here to buy it now from the Xbox Marketplace, or for all PC users, you must download Games for Windows Live to get your copy.

Fallout 3 DLCGood afternoon (or morning) children!  Today I bring you news of great joy!  New Fallout 3 downloadable content has been released!  Operation Anchorage, the first of the two packs, will have you fighting in Alaska, with new weapons and armor to boot!  The second of the two, entitled "The Pitt" brings your character into the city of Pittsburgh which is conveniently taken over by a man named Ashur.  Read the review for Operation Anchorage here, and a hands on preview for The Pitt here, both at IGN.com.
